Automatically Select to Hibernate instead of Shutdown

Hi All,

I am running Windows XP Pro with SP3. I have hibernate selected in power options; however I need to press 'Shift' for the hibernate option to appear in the 'Turn Off Computer' popup box.

Is there a tweak to have 'Hibernate' appear instead of 'Standby'?

Thanks,

Mike

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System\Shutdown]
"HibernateAsDefault"=dword:1
"ShowHibernateButton"=dword:1

Also for current_user.

Is this what you're looking for? It has been mentioned in this forum before.
