For those of us who use Windows 8, you may have already discovered that our standby Win7 .vbs script/s that did restore points do not play well with Win8 now, I wasted about 3 hrs of my life trying to get a restore point script to work in Win8 but no go until I found a free standalone app called "The Restore Point Creator".
