peetrb Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I ran nLite for the first time today. Got several error messages during processing of setup files but since program continued through the next stages I decided to try burning a CD. nLite terminated without doing anything. I restarted it and saw the location of my Windows file displayed correctly, but when I clicked Next I got a message "error while extracting the administrator localisation string" and it closed down. How do I get started again and will I have lost my settings? I've attached my lastsession.ini file. ThanksPeterLast Session.ini
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Some issues you need to address:You are running nLite in Win7 this has been know to cause many unpredictable problems. (Typically with sp integration but there are others that can be related to this)Are you running nLite as a admin? Are you running a AV\malware?Is your disk (Source) genuine and unmodified?
peetrb Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 A few hours after posting this item I tried nLite again and the error had mysteriously disappeared. Have now managed to burn a CD which gets as far as "starting Windows" and hangs. I will make another CD, bearing in mind your comments, and see how it goes.
