esmo Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 XP Pro, SP3. I set the machine to go into standby and then hibernate after preset time period has passed. It goes into standby as scheduled, but when it comes to the time to hibernate, it wakes up the computer instead of hibernating. It will then repeat this process each time, (standby - wake up) according to the preselected time periods. I have tried a third party program but got the same results. Any help much appreciated.
