dencorso ... thanks for the help with the proper way to install the Patchm Demo. I was looking for an option menu since there are several options listed in the manual, just never thought about adding the /M to the first step. Good news, the demo patch solved the problem and the computer started with no VFAT Device message. I had a few minutes to check some things out during the 10 minute trial period ... everything seemed to work OK. If you read this rloew, I'll be ordering the patch tomorrow. Great place for help and solutions.
