chuckindetroit Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 When integrating IE8 into the addons all of my custom nlite tweaks--single click, classic start menu, etc.----- are changed back to the Windows default settings upon the OS installation. This does dedeat a lot of the purpose! Any thoughts on this? Is there anything to do with the order of the addons?
chuckindetroit Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 I created my own addon with Fabio/OnePiece utility using the latest downloads of IE8 exe and updates. Everything integrates fine and The OS loads fine from the new iso. But many of the nlited custom settingd are erased upon installation. This also happens if you install IE8 into a working Windows platform--settings for folder view, single click, etc. are defaulted.
Guest Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 nonno fabio has a way of adding the tweaks to the IE8 addon. The hard part is getting the tweaks out of nLite and into the IE8 addon. You'll need to pull them out of NLITE.INF after it completes, modify the IE8 addon, then start over with your modified IE8 addon.
