Any way to force hibernation when PAE enabled?

Is there any way to FORCE hibernation when PAE is enabled in Windows 2000?

I tried these registry settings:

1)

Looks like it's a flag in the REG_BINARY key "Heuristics" at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power

The 7th value, of that key, has a value 01 for on, and 00 for off

No result

I tried to apply the first one after enabling PAE but hibernation doesn't appear.

There is also a KB Article from M$ about PAE & hibernation bug:

This problem is caused by a code bug in the PAE kernel. Because of this bug, hibernation support flags are not correctly disabled.

It seems to mean that the PAE kernel itself has hibernation blocked. Is it any way to 'bring it back'?

Invoke hibernation directly with API call, see what it returns. Even without PAE, I usually get ~3.4GB memory.

I tried to do it but the result is standby instead of hibernation.

I get 3,6 GB without PAE but I'm just wondering if there is any way to make hibernation possible with PAE on.

I even tried to use the older kernel (pre 5.0.2195.49) but it's too old and doesn't work with other system files (bluescreen on boot).
