nicolastee Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi All,I'm using TCPView to check my local traffic. I found that my Local Port : 50984 , Remote Port - microsoft-ds, Sent Bytes & Rcvd Bytes traffic very high..How can i control the traffic? Need Expert advise . Windos OS - Win7
GrofLuigi Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) That's port 445 as it can be seen in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services. Local port is high because your computer has initiated the connection.Don't close it if you need SMB over TCP (file and print sharing).GL Edited June 17, 2011 by GrofLuigi
