myselfidem Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 For Windows 7, you can create the folder $OEM$(with subfolders) and set this one inside your distribution folder: %systemdrive%\%DVD%\sources\$OEM$help about $OEM$ folders:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766228(WS.10).aspx
RBCC Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 Do they have to go into sources folder on the dvd? Thank you myselfidem , John
myselfidem Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I've tested two methods working:- we can set the $OEM$ folders inside the distribution location: C:\Win7\sources\$OEM$ (inside the folder "sources")- or we can set the folders inside: C:\Win7 (outside the folder "sources"; at the root like for Windows XP)With Windows 7, I use the best practice and set the $OEM$ folders inside: C:\Win7\sources\$OEM$
