sound problem.

hi frnds, am having win xp sp3 32 bit updated from sp2 to sp3 over internet. past few weeks am getting struck while playing songs and movie, especially the sound is getting struck a lot.it sounds like a crushing sound is added with it. it happens when i open a window or even browse. also suspecting about cpu is always loaded , even though am not running much process. i have tried reinstalling my drives. help me over this issue

That won't be necessary right away Instead, why don't you provide more information, say exactly which driver (and version) you are talking about. At the same time, you could also check your processes and run an online scan with some other antivirus solution. Which media player are you using?

hi am using idt audio driver version 5.10.20001.0. .... also i did a online scan with bit defender and my machine is clean. i had attached the cpu usage of my cores. also the process. i found the sound is getting problem when my antivius is making a scan or moving or copying a file and also during extraction of rar files. in total used a kind of big process comes up my machine behaves this way
