Hi

I'm new to win 7 and i've just bult my self a media center Pc, i installed win 7 ultimate 64 bit on a 2tb drive, i put windows on a 60 gig partition and the rest is used for data. My problem is, i need to reinstall windows as a few things have gone wrong and i'm not sure about the small system partition that setup created when i set up my partitions, if i format my c drive and reinstall windows, will it create a new systen partition within the c drive or will the origional one be used? I hope this makes sence. i'll provide more info if needed

Hi cliff!

The tiny primary partition 1 (used for the boot manager only) will continue being there and will update itself after you reinstall. No need to touch it at all, you only need to format your C drive and reinstall.

Greetings.
