GoldOat Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Was browsing Alanoll's excellent guides for "Office XP Advanced Installation", about slipstreaming Office XP CD with latest updates and service packs, and he makes the statement, "Please note that you can only do a slipstream if you have PRO.msi or PROPLUS.msi, you cannot slipstream if your Office XP disc contains PRORET.msi." My Office Pro 2003 Win32 English Disk Kit CD has three MSI files, none of which bear those labels; mine are OWC10, OWC11, and PRO11N. Does anyone know if this is a later issue ( files dates on CD are 08/15/03), and if slipstreaming is possible on this version, and is process same, or am I just out of luck here? Thanks MSFN Crew!
ChiefZeke Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Go here: http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/ and download the Office Integrator; it is compatible with Office XP and should handle service packs and updates just fine.
GoldOat Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Thanks ChiefZeke! I found just TONS of useful info there! You just have to have knowledgeable and helpful people like you to help point out the way to it!
