vLite-ing Win Server 2008 R2

Featured Replies

I'm about to install a couple of servers, whose OS will be either Win Server 2008 R2 or variants thereof. And now I'am curious:

As far as I know, Win Server 2008 R2 shares its core with Win 7 (x64, of course) right? And if vLite can be used to customize said OS (which I've seen been done, and is about to do before re-installing my laptop (I'm doing a clean install, after I've been using Vista and growing tired of that OS), and so it seems to be working (I'm testing it on a virtual pc first).
