Windows 7 and Mac

I can't seem to view shared folders on either systems. I can't see the Mac on Windows 7, and the Mac says Windows 7 doesn't have "guest access" turned on, but I have everything turned on in the networking settings (network discovery, etc). This happened when I reinstalled 7, but I didn't do anything different, the last time I reinstalled 7 I did nothing and it just worked, now it does not. I even added the Workgroup name on the Mac networking prefs..
