vLite Problem

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am coming across a problem with vLite.

I am running Windows XP Professional SP3 with all the latest updates, I have install the WAIK thing it asked me and I followed instructions on how to do it.

This is what happens;

I load up vLite, then I go into "Browser" to search for the Windows Vista Installation files that vLite asked me to copy onto my hard drive from my Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, after I have found the files and clicked "Ok" it gives me the following message;

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application, If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format

(Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700B)."

and in the details part it says:

"See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box."

If I click continue, it just hangs there and does nothing, and if I click quit, it asks to close the program and I say Yes and it then comes up with the exact same dialog box as before.

Can anyone help me on this issue, thanks in advance!
