standby issue

i have several computers that are going into standby mode, even though they are not supposed to.

i double checked the power options applet in the control panel, and the system standby is set to Never

is there a way to totally disable standby mode?

not just per user, but system wide on a computer?

Check Power options in BIOS, they can overrule your Windows settings.

Are you getting any power events in your system or application event log at or around the time the machine sleeps or wakes?
