This kind of functions as a news item since it reflects a major change to the Google search interface, but as well I thought I'd start a thread asking for impressions about it.

For me, I'm finding it a little inconvenient (both for the results popping up as you type), and the fact that you lose your place if you try to autoprompt something further in search terms.

Of course you can turn it off in preferences, though for this coming in default it can be a bit annoying.

Wonder if the others, like Bing, will try to copy?
