Confused about Updation of Win XP SP2 & MS Office2007

Featured Replies

I have Win XP SP2 Pro (Genuine) and MSOffice2007 (H & S Edition) (Genuine)

Once I have installed/integrated the following, why would I need anything else to allow updation of both Win XP and MS Office ?

1. Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (ActiveX)

2. Office Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (ActiveX)

3. Microsoft Update Web Control Class (ActiveX)

“Adds Microsoft Update and removes Windows Update.”

I don't think you would need anything else. Why? Is it asking for something?

Thanks you again, -X-.

I was reading "GUIDE: Download Everything Microsoft", and wanted to make sure that I didn't miss anything.

My PC crashed and required installation 3 times last month. Since then I've removed ubuntu from my system.

Trying be better prepared for the next crash.

But, as you can see, I don't think nlite is the entire solution.

I had downloaded the Unattended Guide about a year ago, and learned quite a bit from it.

I'm just trying to fill in the gaps in my understanding.

Thanks, again. :)
