Guest Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 How can I install 7-Zip in silent mode?Use the "/S" parameter to do a silent installation and the "/D=dir" parameter to specify the "output directory". These options are case-sensitive. 7-Zip uses the NSIS installer by Nullsoft.
ajua Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 After you have it installed and configured, you can make an SFX archive for future installations.Just use the files in Program Files\7-zip and Users\YourName\AppData\Local\7-zip and make a reg file with the keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\7-zip and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\7-zip.
