Explorers Button bar reg settings

when user right clicks on button bar and has dropdown list for

Buttons with text, and without text

does anyone know which registry entries are for that "on the fly" change ?

Here is it:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser
ITBarLayout=

As this value is a big binary value, it is a little hard to handle it without changing other paramters. The right one seems to be the thirteen byte with the binary value 32 for no text, 34 for text a the right of the icon and 30 for text under.

This option will only be used when you launch another browser.

when i already change what buttons i want, and how my toolbars are set and all that

do you know which key saves that

since i'd like to improt that key so i can have on custom installs same UI

as the one i customized ?

i tried to import from VM customized key you gave

into my host PC and nothing changed

i killed explorer and re-run, again no changes

Just use regshot to find the needed keys. (set all to default, 1st shot, make the changes, 2nd shot, compare)
