I followed the directions at http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/50/.

The supplied bat file is:

ECHO.

ECHO Installing Office 2003 Professional

ECHO Please wait...

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb-

This works if I burn a disc or if copy files to the intended pc.

How can I modify this script to install from a shared folder on my network?

Do you want to make a silent install over network for other computers? Because you have already made an admin install of the Office package. Double-clicking would be enough http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011401931033.aspx

But, I guess the answer you need is here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402011033.aspx and here http://oreilly.com/pub/a/windows/2005/03/22/deploying_office.html

No, not really the way I wanted to do it.

I just wanted to copy the files to a shared folder, and then run the SETUP.BAT.

The mapped drive letter changes, so that is why i was trying to have it read the path automatically.
