I don't know how many people here check out "Giveaway of the Day", but I've been impressed with the quality of the software - especially from a win-98 compatibility pov.

I just downloaded their latest give-away (Sothink Video Converter) and after installing it on this win-98 system and running it (I just converted an AVI to windows media WMV) and it worked great, I thought I'd let others here know about it.

Yes, I'm watching the giveawayoftheday too. BTW, recently I downloaded and tried Start Menu 7 from them, my VistaStartMenu patch works with it and allows launching that retail Start Menu 7 on Windows 98 with KernelEx.
