illusions Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Hi I have read many thread and confused what is the best method to disabe SFC?OS = XP oem sp3Some suggest appling this to registry at t-13; Disable Windows File Protection [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]"SFCSetting"=dword:ffffff9d"SFCDisable"=dword:ffffff9dbut I am still getting the nag when I replace files in system32" Files that are reqired for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. Tomaintain system stability. Windows must restore the original versions of these files.Insert your windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD now."How can I also disable xp from installing files in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache folder in unattended?Please advice and thank you.
