bubbadamage Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 how can i get the scroll to move faster while dragging a file up and down a folder windowit moves 1 line at a time, how can i speed this up.it takes about half a second per line at moment.i want to be able to scroll faster while draggingseems keyboard keys dont do anything to help. ive been trying to find anything on this but have failed so far.
cluberti Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Does it repro in safe mode? I cannot get my XP VM to produce these results, so I'm wondering if something installed on your system (explorer file extension, video driver, etc) could be causing it...
bubbadamage Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 here is a small vid whats going onif this looks like standard speed of scrolling while draggin how can i speed it up then.sample video of slowness
GrofLuigi Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Yeah, it looks like standard speed. Here's what I found in registry related to that. This is how it's set on mine and the speed is the same as yours, if not a little slower. Don't know what values it takes (if it can go negative).REGEDIT4[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]"DragDelay"="0""DragMinDist"="0""DragScrollDelay"="0""DragScrollInset"="0""DragScrollInterval"="0""ScrollDelay"="0""ScrollInset"="0""ScrollInterval"="0"
