joedai
I'm using WDS for imaging and I'm setting up and image for windows 7 64 bit. I've created the image in audit mode, made my xml file and it works fine if I test the sysprep on the machine and let it reboot. I'm using sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:XXXX.xml. If I run sysprep then image it up to the WDS server and try to dump an image to a new pc, it totally ignores the unattend xml file.. What am I doing wrong? Atheros
you could always try injecting the xxx.XML file directly into the image.guidelines on how to do it are in the waik. also i think WDS uses the unattend file on wds server and ignopre that in the image. try it there. MrJinje
In WDS, have you both enabled unattended installations and associated the XML file with WDS for that (x64) architectureOpen WDS, Right Click on your Server, select properties, go to "Client" tab. Here is where to make the setting. Whether or not that will work, your guess is as good as mine, WDS does not seem to be very straightforward.
