gnarula Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I would like to know if I could use nLite to add OnePiece addon pack to a Windows XP source which already contains updates till December 2009?Regardsgnarula
johnhc Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 gnarula, if you mean to run nLite again against the already nLited source, then no. This leads to bad results in almost all cases. You should always start with a fresh copy of your CD's files/folders and run nLite only once. You can use the Last Session from previous runs to get all your changes included. Enjoy, John.
Guest Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) johnhc is correct. It is best to always start with an unaltered source when applying an update pack, regardless of whether it's with nLite or RVMi. Especially with a pack as complicated as OnePiece's.However, if you're talking about adding OnePiece's IE8 addon to an nLited source that does not include an addon or update pack that already includes IE8, it is possible with RVMi. As johnhc stated, you shouldn't run nLite more than once on any source. Edited January 31, 2010 by 5eraph
