Stop Extra MB emails in Outlook

hi,

I am using outlook express email client to download mail of gmail account. but from few days i am having problem with some extra mb of emails which exactly is not available in my gmail account.

When ever i run outlook express it automatically start to receive emails which shows I have 9 new mails in total of 12.4 mb of size. It's too big that's why i open my email in browser and there's is not such a big new emails... so i cleaned all new email, draft, trash and sparm.. and again start my outlook express but the same thing is going on. still it is trying to download 9 new mails of 12.4mb.

What is the problem.. the net connection is also not too fast in my country that's why it tooks so much time to download emails of more than 12 mb. How can i skip that

Being Outlook Xpress, I'd check it.
