Macromedia Flash Player 8 HELP!

I received a cd that was recorded in flash player 8 and when you click on the link inside the recording to play a video tour, it doesn't play. A blank screen opens and on the bottom left corner it says "Done" (with a yellow triangle with a red exclamation mark on top). Done with errors on the page flashes once and goes away . It plays in my wife's computer and not mine. Do I have some setting wrong? Any ideas? Is there a better section of this Forum to post, or is there a place to email Adobe Tech support? Do you use a browser other than Internet Explorer for normal browsing? Perhaps Flash player has not been installed for Internet Explorer, but only your alternate browser. Try updating Flash in IE.
