boogerlad Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 If I have a perfected windows 7 install with my apps, docs and such on it, and I use imagex to generate an image/.wim file, can I just make a modified windows 7 iso by switching out the default install.wim to the new image? Would it install the image, or is it more complex than that? I'm still reading the technet articles...

boogerlad Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Could you make a .wim from scratch instead of modifying one? Like, create image of D: and turn it in .wim, and replace the stock windows 7 one?
