I was wondering if in nLite in the Computer Name if it were possible to force the name to be a set string plus a random character set. Computer names are not used on my network for anything and this one part is the last screen that is visible before installation is completely handsfree. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

This will cause Windows to create a ComputerName based on the given FullName plus a random eight-digit hexadecimal value. For example, when "FullName=Tester" and "ComputerName=*" then you would get a ComputerName similar to "Tester-f9836a81". Edited October 15, 2009 by 5eraph
