Vlite for home basic x64

I built my system for FSX specific using vista home basic x64.

My question is this: Since I already have vista installed, am I out of luck in using vlite to remove some of the vista componets.....I.E. movie maker.

My intent is to streamline my system as much as possible so as to get the best preformance I can for FSX use.

I have a second computer using vista home basic that takes care of anything that I would want to do.
