bpalone Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 OK, after watching this Forum for a spell, I have decided to set up a 98SE machine, that will probably be a triple boot with 2K and Ubuntu. In deciding to do this I came across MANY sellers of new ASUS A8V-E SE motherboards on Ebay. This board has all the needed 98 drivers. The drawback is that it uses the AMD 939 pin Athlon. Those can be found on Ebay too. I happened to find some new OEMs there, so I will have a new old system when everything gets here. Just thought I would post this in case any one was looking for hardware that easily handles 98. For a date reference, today is October 10, 2009.
