FFDShow freezes during silent install (for 18min)

I install all my apps at T13 by running and executing runonceex at T13.

Everything goes well but now that I updated (it was almost a year ago) my cd with new apps, also the latest FFDShow... there is something wrong.

I install ffdshow with the /VERYSILENT /NORESTART switches.

Somehow for some reason, the process just halts when it installs ffdshow... nothing happens. Absolutely nothing!

But if I wait long enough almost 20 min... the process continues with the next app.

Is this problem familiar to anyone?

I am using: ffdshow_rev3054_20090804_clsid.exe

Hi there, I made an add-on for nLite using the /VERYSILENT -SP switches, since it is a typical INNO installer. As for the /NORESTART switch, setup has never asked me to restart after installation, but I guess that's individual. Last time I tested was last night and it works fine.

If the problem is in the switches, it doesn't hurt to try, right?

thnx, I dont know why but it only happens on some (older) laptops with old Intel 9xx graphics.

Even more confusing, since I have a laptop with a relatively old Intel graphic, the Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express, and it still works great for me.
