Realtek 8111c GbE

I'm in need of serious help. I recently built a new computer and upgraded another . The First one is am2 setup gigabyte board with one realtek gbe nic. The second is am3 setup gigabyte board with 2 realtek Gbe. I currently have xp sp3 on both . My problem is i use a voice chat program for gaming , and after 3 hours of being on in the program it seems like my internet connection resets itself and i get timed out of the program. It did not occur on the older board and only started when i upgraded. The only solution i have come across is that it is either something to do with the quad core or the adapter. Any help is much appreciated ASAP if possible.
