Remove/disable "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration

Hi all. I must be missing it, but where is the option to remove this (creating a Windows 2003 unattended install)? Would think it would be in components, but don't see it.

(searched on it, but only one post from 2006 and no answer)

mrfunk, I don't see it either in nLite for my XP x64 source. What OS are you running nLite under? If it is Vista, then that could be a problem although not this one. I have noticed that my component removal options for XP x64 are not the same as XP, so W2003 may be different also. Enjoy, John.

I don't know if nLite has the option—I don't have nLite installed or a Windows 2003 source to check with it. But you can manually edit WinNT.sif after nLite completes (before creating or burning an ISO) and add the following lines:

	IEHardenAdmin="Off"
	IEHardenUser="Off"
