Files are download in the cache!

Hello everyone.

A few weeks ago, maybe a month, I stumbled upon this problem. I dont know if its ISP or computer related.

When I download lets say a driver from nVIDIA, when I click on the Download button, at the bottom of the screen I notice the green bar of IE loading. When it finishes loading I get a the download window. Save, Open, Cancel. If I click on Open, it opens immediatly. When I click on Save, it saves it immediatly. That means, it downloads the file somewhere and then it shows it to me when it is ready.

That is not my biggest concern. The problem with rapidshare is.

When I use a download manager, be it Flashget, Free Download Manager, RapidShare Manager etc. it starts downloading some files, 3 usually, and when they end and the next 3 have to start, they do not start! BUT, my MB limit in rapidshare decreases, as if I was really downloading the file. So basically I am downloading it, but I do not have it.

I tried on 3 different computers (Vista/Windows 7) and I got the same problem, although I didnt get the problem with normal downloads from Internet Explorer in the other two. The download window works correctly displaying the progress of the download. I also tried with a different internet connection (same ISP) but I also got that problem with rapidshare.

Finally, I tried with different routers also. But no change.

Anyone have a clue of what could be going on?
