Hi guys,

i wanna know where win vista updates are saved once they are downloaded!! Thanks in advance!! :)

They're stored in a temporary folder and executed, although the uninstall information is stored on disk in the Windows directory. If you're just looking to download packages to redistribute to your machines, consider one of the projects here (like WUD) for this.

You are right i am looking forward to redistribute the updates but where are they stored? Appdata->Local????

And can i then copy from the same? Or do i have to go by WUD?! :hello:

they are stored in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution but use WUD or windows catalog to get the updates cause the ones in that folder arent just point and click installers that can be easily used on another machine
