Problems with Intel 916 MB & XP

Hi All...

Have a quick question...

Mini Tower Computer has an Intel 915 Board with Intel 2.66 Processor and WinXP

Computer had issues withe router, then started acting slow (according to client)

Now Computer is in a reboot cycle. I went into the BIOS to boot from CDRom...when it starts to boot/read CD there is a noticeable power drain and then it just reboots.

I've tried safe mode...same thing...I'm thinking of replacing the power supply, but in reading up on the 915 Mother Board there seems to be a lot of issues with it.

Do you think that it's worth it to try replacing the Power Supply/ Hard Drive etc...or just tell her that she may need a new Mother Board.
