Jeema6 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 (edited) Can some knowledgeable, experienced soul have pity, and help this damsel in distress??? I have been submitting my dilemma for 2 weeks now and I am stuck! I have a new build and when I have tried installing win xp pro sp2, it installs the files and says...starting windows...I get the horrid blue screen with an error msg:A problem has been detected...... 0x0000007E, I have to refer to my hard copy of the complete 'code' but this is what I get and I have triple checked hard drives, pcie cards, mice, keyboards, memory and a gigabyte mb that wassent after getting a DOA. I even resorted to Best Buy robots and they were so not helpful. They seem mad if you know maybe a lil about computers. They also wanna charge $100+ just to nose around on you hdd. I have been searching forums, websites, and friends....help.Thanks,Jeema6 Edited August 9, 2009 by CoffeeFiend comic sans <br />
Guest Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I can barely read your post with that good awful font, color and size but I did read the title and googled up this for you: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182Please edit your post and apply normal text to it and you may get more responses.
jbm Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I don't know if you have a non intel CPU or not.But in addition to what -x- posted, you might try thishttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/953356
JustinStacey.x Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Ironically Comic Sans is supposed to be one of the easiest to read fonts for people with learning difficulties and just in general. I wouldn't call it godawful but it isn't exactly pleasant either. Here's an article from Microsoft relating to your STOP error. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182
