A switchless installer is an installation package designed to be used during Windows setup. They're also known as silent installers or switchless silent installers, but all of these are often misnomers. The package may take switches at the command line, or they may not operate silently, or both. They are only intended to install their payload without user intervention.

These installers can be inserted into the Windows setup routine through SvcPack.inf, cmdlines.txt, or RunOnceEx/GUIRunOnce. For more information please visit the following guide:
