vLite says that WAIK is not installed

I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I have installed vLite 1.2.

I installed the following WAIK from the Microsoft site:

6001.18000.080118-1840-kb3aikl_en.iso

I launch vLite. For "Wim Filter", the "Install" button is active. But if I click "Install", I get the message that I must install WAIK.

Can I manually copy files from WAIK into the vLite folders?
