Need help with sata drivers

Hello,

I am using a Fujitsu-Siemens amilo m1437g laptop. I have been trying to add sata drivers in the xp installation disk with nLite but unfortunately i have not succeeded a single time. I have written several cd's as well but there is something which I might be doing wrong. I follow every instruction for the driver addition in the xp installation disk and then make an iso of the files and write it on to a blank cd. Even the cds i make are bootable but they don't detect my hard drive. I got the drivers from the official site of the manufacturer. please help me out as I am not able to install my laptop with an operating system. drivers for sata are provided by VIA technologies.

Welcome to the forum.

Your laptop seems to have Intel 915PM+ICH6M chipset. Follow this guide by Fernando 1. Pay attention to item 1. 2. c.

*Edit* I double checked at Fujitsu site - amilo m1437g is Intel, NOT VIA!
