Makefiles Litterature

Hi!

I'm looking a little into C/C++ programming and I'm going to spend alot of time on it in the summer. Something that i've noticed is that "makefiles" is quite common in Open Source projects. What I'm looking for is a beginners book on makefiles (a book that you have actually read and think is excellent). I'm looking forward to the replies :-)

Makefiles are only a small subset of C++ development. I don't believe you'll find any books specifically attributed to that topic as it will simply be a chapter of a larger general C++ programming book.
