balubeto
HII have a DVD of Vista SP1 32-bit and a DVD of Vista SP1 64-bit provided with the TechNet Plus. What is the setup.exe file in the root of these two DVDs? I noticed that the file autorun.inf in the root directory of the DVD for Vista SP1 32-bit is: [Autorun] open = setup.exe icon = setup.exe, 0Instead, the file autorun.inf in the root directory of the DVD for Vista SP1 64-bit is: [AutoRun.Amd64] open = setup.exe icon = setup.exe, 0 [AutoRun] open = sources\sperr32.exe x64 icon = sources\sperr32.exe, 0Why these differences?THANKSBYE
Kelsenellenelvian
Simply because 64 bit runs in a different manner. It has to have the code to run and start on a 32 or 64bit machine... Edited April 27, 2009 by Kelsenellenelvian
