How to Clean Laptop KeyPad?

Hi,

While looking for methods on cleaning keypads of laptops, I came across a forum where it said that the keypad needs to be removed and then individual keys. Then one can use distilled water to clean the keypad.

I tried to implement it. I removed the keypad but while removing the keys, I happened to break two keys. This means that the above mentioned technique is not a good one.

How do I clean my keypad so that I get the same feather touch typing?
