Messenger 9 problems, Wich component its necesary for messenger 9 to r

I have removed lots of componets and my vista lite with based on home premium used to work like a charm, but when i installed new messenger 9 simply it don't work, and messenger 8 works perfectly, please help me, which component its supossed to be necesary for messenger 9 to run...
