New to this form, so forgive the newbie before you hear me out.

I 1st want to say thank you for creating Nlite as I needed to Slipstream in the Intel Matrix Storage Driver for my Dell Latitude XT_2. I had spent days trying to get past the Text Mode and the Windows GUI before I hit the famous Windows BSOD. Nlite saved my sanity on this one.

However now I have traded my headach for the Windows BSOD for trying to get the 2nd CD a.k.a Windows Tablet2005 controls to load. I have looked at the past forum colum on this and I have gotten nowhere. Here is my issue, Using Windows XP Pro Sp2, I have the 2nd CD with the Tablet 2005 Cab files. However when I load my CD and enter in my Windows key that should call for the 2nd Tablet CD, the windows load continues and I end up with a really Nice laptop with saying Windows Tablet 2005 but no Journal or tablet keyboard.

I have tried to load the CMPNENTS folder into my build folder under I386 and then run Nlite to make my ISO and boot CD per the suggestion. http://www.msfn.org/board/lofiversion/index.php/t114374.html However I am still getting the same results.

Any Suggestions would be helpful as I am running out of Ideas. sbridge

sbridge, I think nuhi was saying to copy the CMPNENTS folder into the same folder that contains the I386 folder. Please post a screen shot of a Windows Explorer view of your source folder. Also, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.

Thanks for any Help on this as I am confusing the hell out of myself with this process.

I have the MSDN version of Windows XP Pro with SP2, and the Tablet2005 extension files downloaded from our Microsoft Licensed site. I also have downloaded the Intel Matrix Storage Drivers. I have brought the tablet2005 extension files together in the same location and copied over the CMPNENTS Folder to the I386 Folder in My windows Package location.

Here is my screen shots and last session information. SB Ridge

sbridge, again, I think nuhi was saying to place the CMPNENTS Folder into the same folder as the I386 folder - NOT into the I386 folder. Please try this and let us know how it works. Enjoy, John.

Yes!!! That was the trick, boy do I feel like an id*** I kept thinking that It must be inside the I386 folder and I was just doing something wrong. After multiple attempts and more then 50 web sites you have helped me save the day John:thumbup :thumbup

Thanks again sbridge... :hello:
