madmike73 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I had a problem with Daylight Savings Time on a system I built a few weeks ago. The system would not adjust for Daylight Savings Time. I probably noticed it because I built it in mid-March. I think it was caused by slipstreaming KB955839. Looking back using Winupdateslist it looks like tzchange.exe is version 5.1.2600.5699 in XP SP3 and has the same version number in KB955839. I suspect Nlite kept the version in SP3 instead of updating it with KB955839. I could not find any easy way to fix this, when I tried to reapply KB955839 it said it was already applied. I wound up editing the registry to fix it. I don't think this is an Nlite problem but a problem caused by Microsoft using the same version number for an updated module. If someone knows a way to fix this easily please post it, I only manually fixed the Central Time Zone.
