tain Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 This is personal preference. Which one do you like better? Have you used Vista? If not, go try it out in a store or on someone else's computer and see if you like it better than XP.
cluberti Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Agreed - Vista tends to be a like it or hate it proposition for XP users. Those stuck on the classic interface, or who have older hardware (less than 2GB RAM or a multicore CPU) also tend to find that XP is better than Vista for their needs, whereas the converse is also usually true. Also note that Windows 7 is going to be out next year, likely, and will be something you might want to consider as well when you are purchasing your new computer.
