Cellphone support - modem removed!

Featured Replies

I removed the modem support for a few pc's and now when I try to connect a cell phone to any of them to transfer files, XP complains of having no "modem support".

Is there a way to add back drivers, files, reg entries, etc??

I thought I remember seeing a few threads on this but could not find them.

banshee28, there was a thread about a removed language. He was able to restore it using a file from the German nLite site. Try sending a PM to g-force, the site manager. Good luck, John.

Just did....Thanks for the tip

banshee 28, you got PN.

Hi banshee 28!

Here`s a link to a similar thread at "German-nLite": http://www.german-nlite.org/wbb/index.php?...highlight=modem

I think you maybe can`t understand german, so this is the conclusion:

"There`s no way to reinstall or reenable Modem-Support, if it`s deleted with nLite."

Sorry to tell you, but it seems that this is fact.

Regards, g-force

What was the solution to the issue? I'm having the same problem, and I hope to solve it without a reinstall.
